Shoutbox/Chatbox Rules (READ!)

That little thing that's sort of like a chatroom on the main page? That's what we call a "Shoutbox", or more commonly known as the "Chatbox". There are a few rules for the Shoutbox as well as the forum.

One: Please, do not use all caps or a ton of exclamation points in your Shoutbox posts, alright? It can be taken as yelling and offends some people (as crazy as that is).
Two: No roleplaying in the Shoutbox. Roleplaying is like "*eats cracker*" or acting like you're a character from a book, anything along those lines or anything in between, and if you RP in the Shoutbox, it can irritate others who want to have actual conversations.
Three: No more posts than 4 in a row in the Shoutbox. If you flood out the Shoutbox by posting a gazillion posts, it irritates others and it can end up making the Shoutbox break, in which case I have to figure out how to fix it, and that doesn't make anybody happy.

The rest of the site rules all apply: no flaming, no spamming, be nice to everyone, etc.
ALSO: You CAN get banned from the Shoutbox, so the whole 3-warnings-you're-out system applies to Shoutbox rules as well. If a whole boatload of people abuse the Shoutbox and break a ton of Shoutbox rules and it gets to a certain point, I might have to take down the Shoutbox entirely, so try to behave, okay? Cause we don't want to ruin everyone's fun because of a handful of mischievous kids!

All rules and penalties are subject to change at staff's discretion.
